1) At home mask

Want to get a nice face mask without having to go out in quarantine and doing it for half the cost? We have something for you!

After you grab some bentonite clay online from Amazon, simply pour some into a small bowl and add enough acv to get a creamy texture. If you don’t feel like grabbing the clay you can opt for honey and baking soda. This is a great way to detox your skin at home and get a great glow!

 2) Use as a toner for a replacement to astringents

Harsher astringents like rubbing alcohol are able to clean your pores and remove moisture, but studies have shown it’s not really the best for you and is a bit harsh on your skin. Instead you can use a recipe for an ACV toner. This mixture can be made in a bowl as well but you want it to be more like ⅔ ACV and ⅓ water, but using less ACV is  okay too if you have sensitive or dry skin. Given that acv is also a natural astringent, just a less harsh one, the presence of AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) is an effective exfoliant and good for increasing blood flow.

3)  Spot treatment for acne

If you’ve had some acne start to show up on your face, acv is a great way to address the problem areas. Soak a cotton ball or swab and dab on the acne. As you may know already, acne has bacteria which caused the formation of the pimple. Using apple cider vinegar is an effective way to treat acne because of its disinfectant and ph balancing properties, this will keep the acne area clean so redness, inflammation and size of the acne will start to fade.

4) Nail Brightener

Struggling with discolored or yellowing nails? Check this out: Take out a bowl and do half apple cider vinegar half water and soak your nails in the mixture for about half an hour. ACV not only acts as a nail soap, but also is a disinfectant if there are underlying issues to why your nails are discolored.

 5) Use for super soft hair

With the leftover mixture you might have from making your nails brighter you can use that to put into a spritzer bottle, otherwise it’s the same recipe: half water and half apple cider vinegar. This mixture when sprayed on the hair after you shampoo while in the shower, let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing out like a conditioner.

One benefit is it can help clean your hair of stubborn product buildup, the other being it can act as a conditioner to make your hair soft and balance ph levels of your hair as ACV is known to do.

6) Help stubborn ingrown hair from shaving

If you see some bumps from your last shave, apple cider vinegar can help treat ingrown hairs. Dab some on a cotton ball or swab and apply to the ingrown hairs to disinfect and reduce inflammation. Apple cider vinegar will also soften the skin and loosen up the pores so the ingrown hair can grow out easier.

Conclusion

Overall, apple cider vinegar is a game changer for any beauty routine. Its natural ph balancing, disinfectant properties, and other benefits can do wonders for your skin, hair, nails and much more.
